After the shooting the killer walked to where the car crashed and it appears he retrieved the victims phone, impossible to be certain by the videos but likely. Also likely they don't want that phone video public as it might appear like an execution.

The killer waited for the car to crash and went and retrieved the victims cell phone which no doubt has video of her execution.
