A sneak peak for my short story’s sequel, not everyone is clearly a fan of Verla. But the fmc from Midnight Fight’s certainly is!

I related to Jewel's grief and loneliness at the end of her relationship. when my master grabbed me, I was just broken up with by my boyfriend of three years. I am happy for Eleanor, but it still sucks seeing her happy and being loving with Verla. Ugh, especially with Verla.

The body of the text reads as: I honestly feel a bit cheated after reading this. The premise had so much potential, but the execution was so incredibly poor that it ultimately fell flat. It's like you had all the right ingredients for a fantastic meal but then burnt everything to a crisp. The plot was confusing, the characters were unengaging, and the overall experience was one of utter frustration. I kept thinking, "This can't be all there is," but unfortunately, it was.
