day 11: made two more aseprite things, and one of them's an animation this time! i know i should be using godot more, but at least i'm getting used to a similar ui in aseprite. i think coding is my biggest barrier. animation will be in separate post

day 9: more aseprite, i also looked at a godot template more

day 8: okay i'm finding that i really like aseprite, i think i'll just explore it for now while poking around godot templates to study how they work

day 7: feeling a bit of burnout, i need to establish a schedule. today i procrastinated and didn't do anything godot/beepbox, but I did make another ps1 res image in aseprite

day 6: looked at a flappy bird godot project to see how it worked and found the code a bit confusing but easier to understand after gdquest. also made a fake ps1 game in aseprite but it looks like a 2000s freeware game. here is beepbox song 3 i made it without listening during it is.gd/tZVOoi

day 5: figured out how to have the player node appear in the middle of the scene, but that's it. i should go through an example godot game and see how it works. also here is beepbox song 2 is.gd/Vuk2wr

day 3: gdquest done, but it made me less confident about my coding skills. i will prob revisit it again if i'm stuck. also i've been playing classic 2000s freeware like tower of heaven, jumper (maddy thorson), eternal daughter, soon more. i would recommend new devs do so too for how to scope games.

day 2: got a character to move with arrow keys/wasd (based on official code) and did half of gdquest. i've done it before but refamiliarizing myself made me more confident about coding.
