A little story: I first got married at 19 (yes, stupid) while I was in college. I changed my name. It was a pain to do. I got divorced after law school. I changed my name back. Again, a pain. That was 1999. So when I got married again, kept maiden name even though husband was mildly offended. 1/2

I just found out that President Biden commuted the sentence of one of my clients who had been incarcerated for a drug conviction since 2011 (due to the lovely mandatory sentence structure of federal sentences). I'm thrilled for him and his family! Thank you, Joe!!💙💙💙
