I always thought that meeting the "real" Taylor for TS12 would be too soon after TTPD, and felt it would be more fitting for TS13.
TS12 needs to be the bridge between TTPD and TS13 if she's truly planning to burn it all down. And having TS12 be a punk rock political album would solidly fit that

I associate plaid with punk and punk is political! It would be groundbreaking from her.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts!! The sequel movies might be better. It's just, since they planned it to be a trilogy, they had to set a lot of plot lines up in this one
