Ending off the weekend with good vibes at the farmers’ market. So stoked to have found an Easter Cactus! It was mislabelled as the Christmas cactus (Schlumbergera truncata).

Winter is coming. We’re harvesting the last of the summer crops & I’m going to test what we can grow & overwinter in the greenhouse. I’m starting with tomatoes, chillies & basil. Many of my precious orchids are in there too.

Winter means citrus 🍊 season! We’re harvesting our first crop of oranges: Washington navels, one of our faves. These produced fruit so quickly compared to the other varieties we’ve planted.

Winter means citrus 🍊 season! We’re harvesting our first crop of oranges: Washington navels, one of our faves. These produced fruit so quickly compared to the other varieties we’ve planted.
