I agree that it’s a poor coincidence. I don’t think TS actually meant she wanted a white neighborhood. But it does go to show how she doesn’t consider her own whiteness in what she’s saying. It’s an odd blind spot though because POC have given this critique before.

Ugh just had to get it out there. As a Latine listener of TS, I can’t lie that there are times I feel like she doesn’t realize she’s being a little racist…
