I used to get paid absolute bank for my subtitling work. It was technical and hard work, but it meant the accuracy was spot on. Then they laid me off. News like this makes me so angry.

The other problem is the crafters enabling it. There's a retreat here in the UK that proudly displayed their new AI logo and, when challenged by a few, said it was because the group is volunteer-based. I would bet money they didn't even bother to look up artist prices. It's "convenience" to them.

This is definitely horrendous, but just as a heads up: Nightbot isn't an issue here. The issue is StreamElements combined with *any* bot that can run a specific command. Nightbot hasn't done anything wrong here.

Vanilla's a good idea to start with, but if I had to suggest any for a beginner:

- Lookup Anything (You press F1 and get wiki details in-game)
- Chests Anywhere (Access your inventory anywhere, helping you grab items fast. It's easy to forget things for quests, gifts etc.)

Set yourself one goal at a time. Don't worry about getting everything right. You'll learn as you go. This game doesn't have a time limit (seasonal, yes, but you can keep playing forever). You can always restart your save file once it's all clicked (I did that and it worked out well!)
