to be problematic I think I just like shounen character designs more because they're so colorful and flamboyant. there's only so many series I can watch of generic dark haired protag in everyday clothes sometimes with glasses before their stories all kind of merge together

was told I don't seem like the type that reads today and just got really sad by that.
As someone who read a ton as a kid, thru high school, read manga stacks of manga in a day, an avid roleplayer that read for reference, and even finding the themes I like the most as an adult... I was wounded. 😢
