I plan to do my second shot on a Friday in case I feel crappy afterward, but I’m much more worried about getting shingles than having side effects from the vax.

I have had the first shot a couple months ago and didn’t have any issues other than the usual temporary soreness in my arm. The pharmacist warned me that he has had people report more severe symptoms, especially with the second dose. I know several people who had shingles and they were miserable!

Has he ever set foot in a grocery store in his entire life? Every time I go, I am surprised at how high the prices for at least a few of the items I want have risen. Not a damn thing has gone down unless it’s a sale price.

I have seen similar sentiments expressed in an online book club of all places. Some act like buying books instead of using the library for everything is a moral failure

Reminds me of the essay years ago where the person was shaming parents who read to their young kids because it increases the early learning gap. 🙄
