I feel that. The "demons" talk to me too like that a lot. I think it's supposed to be some sort of critical thinking survival method that went haywire when our lizard brains no longer needed to be concerned about hunting and gathering and not dying.

That sucks. Mine gets lost because I am really bad at brushing it and it's really fine so it tangles easily, and I get a lot of breakage and split ends 😢 so there are random clumps of hair often in my showers and hairbrushes. (Which apparently are good for warding off squirrels from your garden?)
