I've always wondered. There must be tons of books on the subject, but I've never bothered to read any.

Will listen with curiosity.

How many unvaccinated people die from measles?

• In high-income countries, about 1 in 1,000 measles cases results in death.

Herd immunity can help protect those who cannot be vaccinated.

From ChatGPT:

Although many people recover from measles without complications, the disease can lead to serious and sometimes permanent damage, especially in unvaccinated individuals:

I am so sorry for the children who will inevitably die or have permanent complications.

My deepest thoughts go out to those who, due to medical conditions, cannot get vaccinated. What a horror!

That is why it is so important that the majority get vaccinated.

Such a terrible loss.

Meaningless from a mind of inhuman madness and introverted megalomania.

Our national driving license is also a valid ID card. When you drive, you are required to be able to show it to the police.

Nowadays the ID card also works as a travel identity within Europe. No need for a passport. Really practical.

We do NOT need to carry it with us all the time, but it is actually quite handy.

You use it when you need to make a contract or otherwise need to show that “you are you”. Nowadays there is also a digital version that you can identify yourself with using a phone app.

Authoritarianism and casual rights to exercise power are what you need to watch out for. Standardized ID cards not so much.

In Sweden, for the past 60 years we have had a handful of standardized nationwide versions of identity cards authorized by banks and the Swedish Tax Agency.

Out of curiosity I did some image googling->The Mermaid Hill Villa. Then some ChatGPTing:

People who once emigrated to America are welcome back.

That is, the part of the population that doesn't know what to do or where to go after everything that happened after the change of power.

In Sweden we have rules and transparency making the temptation of taking advantage of ”inside information” a rather bleak option to make a bright future. If you don’t like losing your job or going to prison. Just saying.

Time for a no-fly-zone over Ukraine AND an international reconstruction force.

The construction workers must be able to work in safe environment so why not accompany them by sending defensive troops like engineer regiments and international air defense?
