How could we do collectively owned social media? Billionaires will keep buying up platforms (and news media) and using them to amplify their interests until there’s nothing left and everything is a right-wing echo chamber.

Watching this TikTok ban play out over the last few months solidifies my belief that republicans are driving a white van with FREE CANDY written on the side and the Dems just keep getting in without having a single reflective thought.
