We don’t know how old Leo is because he was rescued from the street when he was found with extreme tummy distress. That was 4 years ago, and I’ve kept him healthy and happy and so loved. But he has also been losing weight with some reasons to worry. Now he is on a new medicine and doing well.

Well, “prevention” may be my attempt at remaining hopeful. For me, it’s to prevent cancer from coming back. For Leo, it is to slow the development of symptoms that are associated with certain types of cancers. Thank YOU for caring. He helped me through radiation, so I’ll do anything for him. 💚

Meh news: like me, Leo has to go on cancer-prevention meds. Unlike me, Leo got to skip painful biopsies, surgery, radiation, and actual cancer. We are not happy, but we will take it.
