Living on a Prayer. Oldie but goodie.

I'm not generally a huge music nerd, but Sawano is the one composer I can generally pick out if I have enough of a listen, and he's very big on using vocals as part of the regular soundtrack rather than a special "moment" like they would be in other films/TV series.

The trailer music just hit all the right notes with me, the chorus, how uplifting it sounds, so I looked at the composer's name and saw it was another tag team between Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto and laughed. 😂 Now that I knew, it was obvious Sawano was the composer of the trailer music.

At first I thought it was just me adjusting to a new look, but it’s definitely more cartoony which feels like an odd choice for a game with a lot of potentially dark material.

I mean, running into a darkspawn broodmother probably would not incite horror or revulsion with that look.

Don’t ruin his optimism! It might be all the poor guy has! 😂

A cousin I have not heard from in about 20+ years has accepted an invitation to our family reunion. I thought he’d fallen off the map, but glad he’s coming!

Even though I was the DM, I was allowed a character so I could still participate, and I chose Morph, my favorite, who was sadly relegated to guest spots after being "killed." So I was happy to see they've been officially added to the '97 roster as a regular with their name in the opening credits.

So sorry to hear that. 🙁 As someone who gets "not Chinese enough" for being born diaspora, I can't imagine getting that as someone who simply emigrated.

But my yard does need the work. So I'm hoping to find a solution that works out for me, my neighbor (who says they like the bees because they pollinate their flowers), and the bees as well.

He knows about the bees, and seems fine with them, but agreed to pass on the message to the owner. Normally I wouldn't care about my neighbor keeping feral bees, it's not the bees fault where they settled, and I'm not someone who freaks out about a bee landing on them.

The problem is my yard is overgrown so I hired a gardener to trim back all the vegetation and every time he powers on his equipment the bees freak out and the poor guy can't get the job done. I went to talk to the neighbor, but it seems he's renting from his dad.

For me it was her Unicorn trilogy. I picked it up because "unicorns" but it was the protagonist who really made the series for me. (Though her literal pet peeve was fun too. ^_^)
