The holidays are over, with gifts given & received, travel completed, and my houseguest safely home.

Now, I shift from holiday hostess to winter witch with intentional food and cleaning on the list for next week, classes beginning after that, and a year of serious creative magic ahead. ✨ #LFG

This was the last time I did the Olan Mills thing my mom made us all do every year. Waiting tables at Bennigan’s, taking classes and doing theater…The cute photographer asked me out - dinner in Ft Worth somewhere, can’t remember his name.

Fall has the best sunsets.

One of the perks of being part of an MFA program is spending time with the visiting writers who come to campus. Today we had the sincere pleasure of being in conversation with Ladee Hubbard. I swear I already had the shoes, and didn't even realize the match until I was at the reading. :)
