Happy B-Day to country music king Dwight Yoakam-he's 69 on Oct 23rd, born in Pikeville, KY in 1956 ! He was much younger years ago in the early 90's (me too!) when we got to hang out together thanks to Country Music Video Magazine - the terrific video mag I created and produced all the volumes of !

Happy to say that thanks to ReadersMagnet both my 1st and 2nd day taking part in the L.A. Times Book Festival - Saturday 4-26 & Sunday 4/27 - was a super success, even though there was lots of rain! And the good news is, starting at 10am plenty of copies of my book were sold and singed by me!
