In alphabetical order, I love The Beatles, cats, classic film and the Cubs.
What happened to "chill bill hick?" Was he at the Asian brothel, too? ;)

I always confuse Reginald Gardiner/John Sloan with John Howard/George Kitteridge. And Dylan McDermott & Dermot Mulroney. Omg! I'm turning into my mother! #TCMParty

Love Stanwyck, but she's no stranger to Bad Movie Wigs.

She was the epitome of beautiful, blonde backcombed confection on Peyton Place.

How disrespectful in a movie featuring Agnes Moorehead!

I'm crazy jealous of how perfect Helen's lipstick always is. I'm less Jane Wyman and more Demi Moore. #TCMParty

Those mid-century Mamie Eisenhower bangs! No offense to Ms. Wyman, but boy, that was an unattractive fashion trend. #TCMParty

If you're enjoying this, see if you can find This Property Is Condemned. The first time Redford & Pollack worked together as actor/director. Natalie Wood was the impossibly beautiful leading lady. Pollack knew how to make his stars look old Hollywood gorgeous. #TCMParty

Sure, Charlie & her murderous uncle are pretty twisted. But here's another duo who put the fun in family dysfunction. Aunt Ann tells her niece Laura, "Yeah, I'm sleeping with your fiance. OK, so I'm prepared to kill to keep him. Have I taken care of that shine on my nose?" #TCMParty

Janet Leigh lost the Best Supporting Oscar that year to Shirley Jones in Elmer Gantry. It was a big year for nice blonde girls playing against type. #TCMParty

Just a reminder: Before he was Norman Bates, Tony Perkins was marketed as a matinee idol. It's hard to look at this vintage 17 cover and not want to shout: "Don't open that door!" #TCMParty

It would be fun to pair Suspicion with Lured (1947). Also set in Jolly Old, Lucille Ball falls in love with George Sanders, who may or may not be a serial killer. I know this may be sacrilege, but I like Lured (even though it's very much a B movie) better than Suspicion. #TCMParty

Of course I'm concentrating on the wrong thing again, but I love Joan Fontaine's eye makeup in this movie. With or without glasses, her brows are perfect! #TCMParty

Speaking of familiar faces in unexpected roles ... If you enjoyed seeing Lucy as a ball breaker, you might get a kick out of Elizabeth Taylor in a horror movie. Next weekend set the VCR for La Liz in Night Watch. It's not a great film, not by the longest shot, but she's good. #TCMParty

Lucy made a legit noir that will make you believe she & George Sanders were hot for one another. It's got its trippy moments, too, though. A Boris Karloff subplot. Yes, Lucy & Boris Karloff. It's like Eddie said in the intro, Hollywood just didn't know what they had in her. #TCMParty

Pinks and Her Highness reunited in 1968 for Yours, Mine and Ours. Lucille Ball was beautiful when she wasn't stomping grapes or stuffing chocolates in her bra. #TCMParty

This mint green suit is one of my all time favorites. A woman could conquer the world with Grace's wardrobe from this film!

This 17 magazine cover is funny because it's hard to believe a girl would dream of Norman as her mystery date. But before Psycho, Perkins was promoted as a matinee idol. He left it all on the dance floor with this performance, & his career was never the same. I wonder if he regretted it. #TCMParty
