It was fantastic being in Freetown for the launch of the city’s pioneering heat action plan and seeing parts of it already at work - from Congo market to Ojuku’s mangroves - alongside Yvonne Ali-Sawyerr and Eugenia Kargbo

I had a great time teaching this terrific group of international investigative journalists about climate change - and extreme heat risk - for the Global Investigative Journalism Network and the iMEdD - incubator for Media Education and Development. Can't wait to see the work that results!
