Covid-19 Royal Commission Report [363/?]

The elimination strategy was the best way to protect all Kiwis and look after those at highest risk from a pandemic. By delaying widespread transmission until most people had been vaccinated, thousands of premature deaths were prevented.

Yeah sorry you are seeing a gvt that Kiwis have never seen before. This is not the country we are or used to be🤨

I just hope Te Pati Māori, Greens and Labour meet soon to align policies so they all on the same page re taxation, social policies etc. Another term with this gvt, I think we will be too ruined to bounce back from. The only reason COC are working is that they had policies aligned before election.

Yesterday it’s reported that lower Waihou river has alarmingly high nitrate levels, largely due to farm runoffs, huge cause of bowel cancer, we have highest rate in either OECD or world, can’t remember.

Luxons favourite saying is “the war on farming is over.” Implying that Labour etc are anti-farmers. Fonterra wont collect milk from farms if there are blatant probs as our overseas markets will shut down access, it’s a big part of our trade agreements. Intensive dairying has caused nitrate concerns
