Nothing wrong with expecting people to pick themselves up by their bootstraps, until you realize that some people have no boots.

When you lie all the time, people stop taking your word for things — even and especially on military assessments.

When you call everyone a “communist/socialist” — even Joe Biden — people stop being afraid of it.

You only have yourselves to blame.
