Unfortunately, a congresswoman stated in an interview (I’m not sure which one) that congress doesn’t need to give approval for single strikes & they had no knowledge of this until it happened. He does need congressional approval to “declare” war, but at this point it all just feels like semantics.

A lot of the people ICE is abducting have visas, active immigration applications, or came here seeking asylum (which is a legal route, as well). I’m all for illegal criminals being deported (with due process) but this isn’t that.

Being undocumented is a civil offense, not a criminal one. Are we going to start deporting people for jaywalking, too?

They are hypocrites, so yes. They don’t care about anyone else until it actually affects them.

No, but his wife has been extremely vocal on her opinions. Personally, I’d have a hard time being married to a person with such extreme views if I didn’t agree with them, but that’s just me.
