... where Medgar - a WWII veteran and the NAACP’s first field secretary in MS - was assassinated in his carport on June 12, 1963. He was only 37. I look forward to learning more about his remarkable life cut short way too soon.

Citizenship challenge day #1 (1/20): On this day ON, I joined Denver’s MLK, Jr., Marade (march+parade). It was a joyful event, despite the cold. I had a lot on my mind. Mostly, I reminded myself that the march continues ... for justice, freedom, equality, kindness, dignity, and respectful dialogue.
