With a $500,000 investment and a partnership with Undue Medical Debt, up to $50 million in medical debt will be erased for hardworking families across our state.

This means fewer sleepless nights, less fear of the mailbox, and more room for people to focus on healing and living their lives.

Last week, my husband, @mattmeyerde.bsky.social, took action to wipe out nearly $19 million in medical debt for more than 18,000 Delawareans, with even more help on the way. I know firsthand how life-changing this relief will be for families. And we're just getting started.

Moments like this honor traditions rooted in faith, history, and belonging, and remind us that Delaware is a state of neighbors where we can all come together.

Because every person in our state deserves to feel safe in their community.

At yesterday's Coalition for a Safer Delaware Fall Forum, I spoke about the steps our administration is taking to address the root causes of gun violence, including establishing the Office of Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety.

Today, IFF partnered with the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay and Archmere Academy to give 2nd–5th grade girls hands-on science experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of possibility.
