Yeah, Christmas lights are genuinely beautiful. I love that part of the season. And of course, being a ballet nerd, I have to go and see The Nutcracker. But other than that, it's a cold wasteland of capitalism 😅

Slight amendment: everything revolves around shopping or drinking.

Halloween had some genuinely creative fun events where you could dress up and go out. You could learn some history. Christmas is just all about materialism.

We were all crying. We have been working so hard for this for over a year. It was a hard fought victory and it's just the start (we won this battle, we're still fighting the war), but it does taste sweet 🥹

YES! That's our biggest hope: to inspire others to organize and advocate for the same. Because our success can totally be replicated (and we're going to keep fighting for more).

Hilariously, that's part of my hesitation of going to the local Christmas Market.

Like I really can't express enough just how much I utterly loathe tree ornaments. When I say it is unreasonable, I'm not over exaggerating. It literally ruins my day sometimes 😅

And it's that time of year where literally everyone is making them. I'm sorry, I know everyone puts a lot of work into theirs and thinks they're special, but they just all look the same to me.

And now they're all over my feeds. Le sigh 😩

I literally had to read the email twice because I couldn't believe my eyes. Then I just put my head in my hand and muttered, "Jesus Christ." I'm not even surprised anymore.

Seeing that just warmed my heart so much. The Royal Ballet feels like my home away from home and I love to see them exploring ways to make it even more accessible to more people 😊
