Only time will tell if Judge Mehta's ruling in the search case will be an outlier for his judicial restraint, or the norm. But it's now clear that the hurdles to antitrust enforcement don't end with a monopoly ruling. Brinkema's ultimate decision will be telling. www.theverge.com/policy/79345...

Besides having Meta and Google's trials going on at the same time a few floors apart, it was also ironic to see TikTok brought in as a witness for the FTC in its case against Meta, after TikTok fought the government in the same courthouse over a ban of its app www.theverge.com/policy/69044...
