Joined a social group via an old psychiatrist, one of the folks I kept in touch with was like "hey wanna go to xyz?", got invited to that group's Dcord, periodically show up for events, acquired friends. Not perfect, but also going to local board game adjacent meet ups.

Once again, very sorry that you all never got to see this sent to print. Japanese copyright laws are so different from ours you figure DK would be a bit better prepared as they're an international company. Hopefully a lesson learned for them and going forward something may grow from the ashes.

Also doesn't help that Disney has Sony handling their home-entertainment distribution now, but Disney still curates. It took a letter writing campaign to get GF on physical if you can believe it, it was outsourced to S!F; smart move. For whatever reason, Disney just doesn't see the potential there😞
