The casualty list just groups him under "died," which he did at the isolation hospital/sanatorium at East Dereham in Norfolk in June 1943. Notice of the funeral was published in the Hull Daily Mail.

It's hard to work out what the cause of death on his certificate says. The only bit I can make out is "Myocarditis (Toxic)", which, I see, is caused by "exposure to certain drugs, chemicals, or toxins."

Born in 1923 in Wawne, East Yorkshire, he served in the Royal Artillery as a Gunner, part of the anti-aircraft searchlight regiment. This Laurence Horton died in 1943, aged 19.
