While the big one continues to develop on the easel I thought I’d share my current favourite limited edition print. I love the idea of combining the very small with the very large and this handsome elephant made a perfect backdrop for the Carmines darting energy!

Over the years I’ve learned to put a painting to one side for a few days if it’s not working. It’s so tempting to keep bashing away and end up making things progressively worse! This is one of those paintings that I thought would end up in the fire-pit, but I think it’s showing potential now.

Well this is like being reborn! My very first post on Blue sky - I suppose partly substantiating the claims in my bio. Here I stand putting the final touches on an elephant painting which was 100% donated to conservation in Kenya.
