Definitely The Word for World is Forest by Ursula K Le Guin. A beautiful and horrible allegory for colonialism and it's tragic (and avoidable) consequences, set on a planet full of valuable resources. The messaging is all very obvious, but I love the story of the planet's indigenous species!

This also means no social media (the algorithm is going to *hate* me)! No posts, no likes, no scrolling. My body is screaming at me for some downtime, and in the words of Bilbo, "I've put this off for far too long". See you in November 💚
