I finished! And have to share the embarrassing reason it took me so long - this sweet little slip of brutality got lost when I was 50 pages in and my disorganized butt couldn't find it. But I located it hidden in a tote bag and scarfed the rest down!

Last night Ruby (pibble) went behind the shed which she's not supposed to do. She wouldn't come back when I called so Tiny in his strictest voice yells "Ruby Dooby DOO" like he's full naming a recalcitrant child and y'all it WORKED.

I'm...vaguely recovered from Stokercon, though by this point in the season I'm pretty drained. It was incredibly wonderful to see everyone, and hug, though never enough time with each of you. My writer's heart and soul is fed, now back to the page.Working on a novella due end of July. 💕💕💕

I'm not the best at visualization. I have an idea of what my characters look like but I've always wanted to SEE them, if you know what I mean. So I asked @coopersbeckett.com if he could wrangle something, since he does such kickass visuals for his own characters. 1/2
