Kyoto and its scenic views, yummy snacks and quiet elegance leave me with such a full heart. Both meals today were also really special since we basically took over both restaurants. A truly lovely day.

There are not enough quiet tree- lined paths in my day to day life.

Genuinely puzzling to me we're sacrificing clarity of action for barely readable zoomies & vibes. I wanna see choreography! Composition! Yes, it's a chaotic fight but it doesn't mean you have to make it too chaotic to follow. I don't mind the colors- I take issue w/ readability.
"And yet, it is also here where the film's flaws become most glaring, with the focus on flashy imagery and the distracting use of big color splashes from the manga covers coming across as over-stimulating to the point where the fight becomes hard to follow at times. The fights are still thrilling, but they are a big departure from the style of the first season and feel like they’re playing it safe for a more mainstream theatrical crowd."

SUBLIIIIIIME!!! Had a blast watching this tonight. The quiet moments were done so well. Naturalistic drawings are just such a balm to my soul but they also go all out in those bonkers fight scenes. Kensuke Ushio's soundtrack is so achingly lovely!
