Never thought such an event could happen so close to me, and didn’t do enough training:
I shielded with a staff in an unlock-able and quite exposed fitting room situation, which was immovable and unsafe.
Right order: run > hide > fight.
Luckily Im fine and made some very beautiful kind friends🙏🏼

Was at Westfield yesterday at this time and it was the scariest 40mins in my life. Luckily got supported by a highly responsible staff for sheltering, and later got rescued from the garage by a kind couple, who ended up being a faculty member at San Jose State University!
