We have savings, and are grateful for that, but haven’t been able to add to it for a while. We pretty much stopped going out to eat or drink.

Things could be worse, but something has to give.

Might cancel my next hair appt, just to save a bit. Thankfully we have our health, b/c Anthem just terminated their contract at MU Hospital, impacting 90,000+ people in our region. At least our now-pointless health insurance costs $0 w/ financial assistance, but we’re still being extremely cautious.

What hurts even more is that I can’t afford to take care of all this now. I got the oil change, tires will come this fall. The most problematic doors or windows will be replaced now, others will have to wait. Will probably cancel this summer’s dental appt, they no longer accept any insurance anyway.

Hmm..

On one hand, free pie.

On the other hand, I’ve never liked Papa John’s.
