Nope. I watched his reveal to the rest of Sesame Street when it first came out! Kids were not telling adults about being abused because if adults couldn’t believe Big Bird when he said his friend was real then they wouldn’t believe kids when they came forward about abuse. That needed to change.

Mine used to take about a minute to “warm up” before we could see anything and the top left corner of the screen was wonky

My only gripe with this book was that Palpatine had not yet been given a first name so his even parents called him Palpatine 😂 Other than that it’s perfect

I was a kid when this came out and I found it too dark and depressing with the whole Cardassian Occupation backstory. After rewatching it as an adult I now see it as one of the best Star Trek shows ever!

I loved the first half of Babel and absolutely hated the second half. I felt the exact same way with another of her books, The Poppy War.

I read over 80 books in the expanded universe (now known as Legends) and the droids names were always written out (Threepio) unless they were being identified by their serial numbers, in which case it was C-3PO. I am so used to Threepio that I see it as that in my head when it’s being spoken aloud.
