"Space Formation I" is finished! I love the brushwork in this piece, and the colors really vibrate. They are floating in a constellation sans tin can but seem to be having fun!

Today in the Studio: ongoing adventures in my Flemish glazing experiment...which is going at glacier pace as the Damar varnish-medium mix used in Flemish glazing makes the layers take 6 weeks to dry.
But the colors are starting to pop!

Yes. My relatives in Appalachia have no cell signal & flip phones for when in town. They do vote though. They get cable & internet from Dish. Others can't afford Dish. In the pandemic some parked at the McDonald's parking lot for wifi, so their kids could attend remote with laptops from the school.
