Rape is a coerced as well as forced action. Clinton was good at using his charisma to entice young women and has been rumored to have pursued one young underage girl in the past. Not giving him a bye. He was there. but correct he has nothing to lose so it’s right thing to take the hit.

Very concise & keen observation. I expect their upcoming book will fill in the “context” she bemoans is absent. we also know from living with this b.s. that it is standard operating procedure to turn around and deny the truth they say out loud. It’s what they do.

This is meaningless unless the Senate also passes it, and my money is on the outcome that they won’t. My read is that the GOP House knows this. This is smoke and mirrors. Hope I’m wrong…

I do not for one minute think the Senate intends to pass this bill, and all the republicans in the House know this. It’s cover for when Graham and Tuberville proceed to sue to keep this info from being used in investigations against them for their role in insurrection. Hope I’m wrong …

But they can still sue. I think they are well past caring about optics. TuberVille is retiring and Graham not up for re-election.

Is this an independent bill? If so, it has to be approved by the Senate for it to actually be stricken. So it may still be show.
