Octavians, enjoying a break in rehearsal-finishing up mulled wine left over from Sat's concert, brought by a hard-working alto who'd been advising the health minister all day but still faffed about heating it, funnelling it back into bottles wrapped in bubblewrap so it stayed warm🤩😇

I recognise Sue there 😛 I'll be with Octavians doing a very similar thing on Sat, singing for the Bentley dealers open day 😆🎁🚘🚗 here we are last year! (different venue)

My 1st tonight too & due to sudden illness of organist I've had to leap on the bench, get Octavians to behave like a consort & manage without direction 😱 (also need to practise some 🎶 now in tea break) huge amount of Advent tomorrow, too 😅

I've been to a lovely concert this evening, Petrarch sonnets set by soooo many 15th C peeps, but also Jacopo Bologna who was a 14th C contemporary 😳🎶 glorious! (more people in audience, I had empty row in front of me 😝)
