I always identified strongly with Meg in "A Wrinkle in Time" but this hits differently having a 6-year-old (the age of Charles Wallace) at home.

They make plastic clog removers to poke down the drain and pull out hair and other gunk. It will only set you back $5 or so if you don't want to use harsher chemicals.
