I really dove into this one, Molly. Apparently Andrew Jack (dialog coach) worked with the filmmakers to create the individual accents for LOTR. Aragorn specifically code-shifts for whoever he’s talking to because he’s a nomad.

I kind of assumed it was his Danish sneaking in there. But guy is a polyglot, so who knows? I bet he had a dialogue coach, but how do they decide correct pronunciation of a novel language whose inventor is dead?
