Met this little fellow last night. His owner said he is typically wary of new people. He sat in my lap and stared like this for an HOUR - should I have given him a sock? #notactuallydobby

The house was filled with smoke via the HVAC, and the attic and walls were saturated with water (but not burned). No immediate needs other than fortitude - house “looks” fairly normal inside and we just need to dismantle it. Thoughtful grandson pic for balance!

Friday night my biggest concern was that one of our cats peed on my pillow. A few hours later the universe said “hold my beer.” We are ok, cats are too, but damn these timeline shifts aren’t for sissies…
