The core message coming from this year’s legislative session so far: state legislators know best. They know better than local police, sheriffs, athletic directors, teachers, school board members, and on and on.

It is time to stop this unchecked expansion of state powers.

Evil
We worked for months with USAID to build an $85,000,000 project to end TB in two regions of the Philippines.

The project is funded by private money, the Philippine government, and matching USAID funds.

It could provide a blueprint for eliminating TB worldwide--except it's...not happening.

Indiana has executed Joseph Corcoran. This is the first state-level execution in 15 years.

Capital punishment is a moral stain on our nation that flies in the face of the freedoms our Constitution promises. It's time to end this practice once and for all.
