A little hygge amidst the clutter.
Here is a picture of my beautiful Mom taken around 1959. She worked as a secretary for the agency that would become USAID. Although my Mom left her job when I was born , her service to USAID shaped our lives. My heart is wrenched and I’m glad she didn’t live to see it.
