For anyone attending the counter protest in Ellijay this Saturday, it might be useful to read this article to gain an understanding of the mindset of Trump voters who will be celebrating his 100 days.

Before 47, I'd say ~75% of my social media posts were about my pups. My little world still revolves around them, and they're keeping me grounded during these unsettling times. But you won't see as much of them right now; my posting priorities lie in getting the word out. Save our democracy!

The International Emergency Economic Powers Act allows the president to impose tariffs if he declares a national emergency under the National Emergencies Act, which Trump did today. That same law allows Congress to end such a declaration of emergency; so far, Republicans have declined to do so.🫰

Earlier today, I made what I expect to be my final post on Facebook. I no longer trust, or wish to support, Meta and Zuckerberg - especially after hearing that HCR's posts are disappearing.

This is my first post here on Bluesky. We need something uplifting during these unsettling times.
