Loads of unintended consequences have come from new policy frameworks or innovations under IDEA/FAPE/NCLB etc but at least one of those unintended (or, rather, intended) consequences wasn’t a complete and utter disregard for public education and the children it serves

I tried but instead of being able to ask to be transferred to my senator, instrumental music started playing and I was never able to be redirected. It’s like a scary movie.
