Da Slockit Light: Part 1

A beautiful tune by Shetland fiddler Tom Anderson on the gradual depopulation of his home in Eshaness.

With every crofter that left, another light in the community was extinguished (slockit).

I heard this tune for the first time in the Royal Bar, Innellan, on Thursday night and just had to get it under the fingers.
