A while back I read about how aggressive the males can be when mating. Some female dragonflies will feign death to avoid them - like stop flying mid-air and just fall. And if the male detects another male's sperm in his mate, he will spend hours scooping it out of her before dropping in his own. 👀

I have told so many people about this and tried to practice it, too. I had a day of rage posting and nonsense last week, none of it was productive. So, like @samsanders.bsky.social, I am stocking that shit up for where I can best use it.
