That didn't take long. Pedaling as fast as he can to deflect. I'm not interested in protecting anyone in either party. Moves like this won't take the focus off of him.

He likely orchestrated having the people who weren't up for reelection in 2026 vote to end the shutdown so that the people who are up for reelection could vote no and not risk losing their seats. This was a very calculated move.

You just did more to rally us to get rid of the old guard than you can imagine. Be prepared to lose your seats to people who have the courage to stand strong for the American people.

You let people suffer during the shutdown and now you're going to cave? If you weren't going to hold the line, why did you bother doing this? The defectors may not be up for reelection in 20 26 and we will remember. If you let this happen, you have to go. We, the people, ultimately have the power.

It's beyond my understanding how someone who has created so much division, turmoil, harm, etc., could think he deserves the Nobel peace prize. Message sent.
