This is what Bryan Furuness had to say about THE MEANING OF FEAR. What do you think you’ll say after reading?

Can't wait to welcome @rapscallison to my Intro to Fiction Writing class tomorrow. FAGIN is a terrific novel. Epstein shows us the very heart of a character whose heart was sorely overlooked in Dicken's portrayal. Highly recommend this empathetic and exciting novel

Looking forward to this new collection from David Haynes. Loved his novel "A Star in the Face of the Sky", so this latest promises to be terrific.

Just finished this lovely and exciting debut novel by @umich.edu @megancummins.bsky.social The story lovingly peels back layers of complicated family dynamics, caregiving, and growing up with grown-ups who love you but fail you, too. Highly recommend!

@regalhouse.bsky.social hits another design home run with this dynamic and fierce cover for my forthcoming psychological crime novel, due out in March 2026. Pre-orders are available at all the major online retailers and directly from the publisher, too.

Picked up these treaties at Books & Mortar in East Grand Rapids MI. Loved Caitlin Horrocks' novel The Vexations so I've been wanting to check out her latest SSC. And I've been on a female dystopia kick recently, wonder why? So the Harpman should scratch more of that itch.

A year ago on a writing retreat, Robin Martin etched my forthcoming novel's title from @regalhouse.bsky.social in the sands of Lake Erie. Posting this very cool photo now to tease my cover reveal, which I'll be sharing soon. Both this photo and the cover capture the novel's wild, fierce spirit.

Sure was hard to leave @the-vcca.bsky.social this morning. What an inspiring place to write, research, and break bread with some amazingly talented writers and visual artists. Such a treat and privilege to spend time on the mountain.

Highly recommend this SSC in solidarity with the protests in LA and elsewhere. The stories beautifully describe the experience of undocumented families in small Midwestern towns like Niles, Michigan during the raids of the early 2000s #booksky

@kfor24.bsky.social has a new poetry collection out! Just snagged my copy and started reading. Wise, generous, unflinching songs of the self in a troubled world.

As both a mom and a worker bee, for many years I was never able to apply to writing residencies. Now that family duty has eased, I have more freedom to go somewhere gorgeous and write! So grateful to @the-vcca.bsky.social for accepting me for my first-ever residency this summer.

Couldn't make it out to any of my local indie bookstores today. But I've spent a lovely year reading these novels from @regalhouse.bsky.social so giving them a shout out to celebrate. I'll be chatting with @miriamgershow.bsky.social about CLOSER at @literatibookstore.bsky.social on July 10th!

Hala Alyan gave such a poetic and inspiring Hopwood lecture @umich.edu last night. One lovely take-away among many was that, in these dangerous times, showing up for others is both resistance and self-care.

And it's off to the printers for the ARC! Grateful to @regalhouse.bsky.social for bringing this novel to readers who want to explore whether the cure for our fears is worse than fear itself.
