From Woolworths in Reading I think. I also remember the big red circle price tag of £8.99 I believe.

Getting back into the swing of things with some recent work.

Wanted to try some typographic designs based on the first two Beatles songs on their first album. Cause why not.

You see the vision? We should bring back adverts that look like this. And hire me to do them. 👍

I made up a beauty brand, GLOW, and put together some illustrations for it. First off, an advert with some illustrtaed cosmetics.

A lot of adverts in the 60s and 70s used illustrations of the product rather than photos which I think is fun.

Not a great week work wise last week.

Lets hope this week is a bit more productive.

The second of my illustrations celebrating me actually reading more this year. Just a fun little psychedelic thing showing the joy of reading.

Current background work ambience. 😎

One of my new year’s resolutions was to read more. And with help from my local library, it’s something I’ve actually done, yay!
So here’s a design about how you can get lost in a book. Sketched first, then warped around a bit on the iPad to get the final design.

Read a book and escape reality. 🌈

Some recent illustration work. Making my final artwork more like my sketches with visible pen marks.

I'm digging this kind of vibe so will continue with this for a bit and see how it goes.

I think the next stage is to figure out what subject matter I want to be drawing.

Some recent work in the digital marker pen style. Portrait based on a photo I took at a Saatchi Gallery exhibition.

Warped around a bit in Procreate to give an elongated effect.

Recent sketches. Some flowers, greek style octopus and vase, and Chiswick House. Because why not.

Too hot. Dying. Have a little picture of a snowman.

It's that time of year again, so have my latest illustration for Wimbledon Tennis 2025.

Experimenting with showing more visible mark making and making the design more like my sketches.
June 30, 2025 at 8:45 AM
Recent sketches. Some colourful fish and some gesture figure drawing.

There's always parts of those figures I quite like, the shape of a leg or hand etc. Maybe one day I'll like all of it.

I had a design chosen to be a part of this year's Secret 7' charity auction for War Child.

I chose the Jessie Ware song 'Beautiful People' and put together a design based on a decadent 1920s style champagne party.

My sleeve eventually sold for £50, hurrah!

Recent sketches. Been very much into greek mythology recently. Also loving the cheap coloured marker pens I'm using.

Can't be arsed today so, sketching.
